Vet was very helpful, he was calm and gentle with my dogs which in turn helped them stay quiet. Gave me some great advise regarding their weight and how to get them back on track

Had an emergency with my dog Pami and the receptionist were kind to offer all details I needed by phone ( am approximately piometry surgery costs etc) and they even booked to see us same day in another of few hours. Doctor Neil saw us and after seeing us for 2 days in a row then advised us to go to surgery. Him and receptionist made all the bookings etc so we can easily arrive for surgery. We did paid for each visit and surgery ( this was done by Animal Trust Barnsley). Doctor Neil has given us a fair assessment for our dog and now she is happy back home with us. Hope this review gets back to him as we truly appreciate his help and dedication in helping animals. Where our own practice failed us as couldn't even offer some initial information without waiting for hours the Medivet Arncliffe have stepped in and now are our hero along animal trust Barnsley 👏 🙌 Pami and her family thanks to all who helped her ❤️

Lovely practice and our vet is exeptional. We don't have the easiest dog to handle during our visits, but she is kind, patient and persistent when it comes to the care she gives. The staff overall are great, but the vet care us wonderful.

Never again. My dog was previously diagnosed with liver cancer while we were living abroad, and she sometimes develops stomach issues related to her illness. We visited the Wath upon Dearne branch and I brought all the paperwork from the investigations, tests, and diagnosis carried out abroad. That day, my dog was treated for her symptoms and given medication for 3 days. I paid nearly £200 — expensive, but I love my dog, so I paid without question. The treatment worked and she was fine afterward, but I knew the problem would eventually return. When it did, I asked the practice to supply the same medication or at least give me a prescription so I could order it online. I was told this wasn’t possible — I would have to book another consultation and present the same documents again, because no notes were made last time. So instead of just paying for the medicine, I would be forced to pay for consultations all over again. This feels like nothing but a way to take more money from pet owners. So rather than simply helping a sick dog, they insisted I pay consultation fees again just to get the medicine. Completely unfair and unnecessary. This practice is a rip-off. I will never return and would not recommend them to anyone who truly cares about their pet.

This vets is amazing. The pet plan is really good value for money. The vets are really nice and knowledgeable. The reception staff are so lovely and have been really kind and helpful and accommodating. The driver in our household passed away recently and the reception staff have been really helpful in changing appointments. Today I took one of the cats in for a weight check and he was very anxious and had soiled himself while I was trying to get an uber home. The ladies on reception gave me cleaning supplies, a puppy pad and let me use a room to clean him AND booked me a taxi. I cannot reccomend this vet practice enough and im very thankful!
